Department within the competence provides state policy realization in sphere of creation and functioning of the state system of insurance fund of the documentation. State department of insurance fund of the documentation (Department) is a structural division of the State Archival Service of Ukraine.
Main goals of Department are:
1) realization of coordination and control over formation and conducting insurance fund of the documentation (IFD) and its use by delivery to users of copies of documents IFD necessary for statement on manufacture, operation and repair of production of defensive, mobilization and economic appointment, for carrying out building (regenerative), rescue and under abnormal condition-recovery work during liquidation of emergency situations and during the special period, and also in sphere of storage of objects of a cultural heritage and the information on cultural values;
2) conducting the State register of documents of insurance fund of the documentation of Ukraine;
3) conducting the State register of potentially dangerous objects;
4) realization of planning and control over activity Research-design institute of technology of micrography, budgetary organization "Fund" and the regional centers of insurance fund of the documentation (establishment SFD).
