Technical committee of standardization "Insurance fund of the documentation" (ТК40) operates as a part of scientific research institute of micrography which provides functioning of secretary TK 40.

Primary goals ТК-40 are:

- Working out and examination of projects of standard documents on standardization in the fixed lines of activity;

- Conducting standard documents on standardization of complexes “Insurance fund of the documentation” and “Safety in emergency situations”;

- Participation in robots of the international and interstate committees of standardization.

The technical committee of standardization “Insurance fund of the documentation” (ТК 40) is the R-member in three international technical committees of standardization: ISO/TC 46 "Information and documentation", ISO/TC 171 "Management of document circulation", ISO/TC 223 "Civil protection" and the V-member in ISO/TC 42 "Photo".
